Later that night she does his makeup, paint each other's toenails black and he ends up giving in and letting her borrow his wife-beater so that she can feel invincible. They fall asleep watching Harold and Maude in front of the television, his head in her lap, her fingers running through his hair... That's what I call "embracing Jesus and The Goddess." I don't think it's quite what the Christian Coalition has in mind.
